Role Info:
Graduate PR Account Executive – Political & Stakeholder Engagement Consultancy
You will need to be able to work from our Thame, Oxfordshire or London office up to three days per week. If you are not close by please detail your plans to relocate.
Salary of £25,600 including a car allowance + Benefits + Bonus

We are a political and stakeholder engagement consultancy, specialising in the property development sector. We create and deliver targeted communications strategies to promote and ensure the success of challenging development proposals through the planning system. Our clients include Taylor Wimpey, Countryside Properties, Sainsbury’s, Travelodge and Churchill Retirement Living, amongst many others.

Your Role:
As an Account Executive, you will support a range of communications projects.
In this key role, you’ll carry out research and prepare written materials, including letters, brochures, media releases and adverts. Externally, you will liaise with the public and attend meetings with your Line Manager.
Specifically, you will:
+ Attend meetings and presentations with politicians, local interest groups and residents
+ Respond to enquiries from the public
+ Communicate with local authority councillors and officers
+ Analyse feedback from public consultation exercises
+ Prepare formal reports
+ Liaise with the Support Team regarding mailings, public exhibitions and other key events
+ Monitor relevant media and committee meetings and report on coverage
About You:
+ A degree level qualification (Politics, Built / Planning or PR / Journalism) or one year’s experience working in communications/PR
+ A proactive mentality and readiness take on new challenges
+ An excellent communicator
Desirable skills:
+ An interest in either local politics, communications, planning and development
Essential requirements:
+ A full, clean driving license and access to a car
+ Fluent in speaking and written English
+ Proficient with IT
