SEO / PPC Marketing Executive – Up to £30K (DOE) – Milton Keynes
Our client is an independently owned, award winning web design and digital marketing agency who are in the process of growing their team. Having moved to new premises, they are offering a superb opportunity for career growth.
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and talented SEO / PPC Marketing Executive to join its multi-award-winning agency, who will be responsible for researching, implementing, improving and reviewing the rankings and online digital marketing for our clients. This could be organic SEO, Google Ads / PPC or a combination of both.
Working as part of a team, you'll support clients and internal teams with website improvements, content creation, technical optimisation, and analytics to help gain higher rankings for our clients. You will need to stay up-to-date on the latest SEO strategies to stay within search engine guidelines. You will be passionate about improving PPC campaigns, squeezing every possible click out of small budgets and increasing key metrics.
The role includes:
* You will be responsible for delivering effective digital marketing campaigns to clients, ensuring that work is delivered on time and improvements in rankings are made.
* You will get hands-on with deliverables, ensuring that they’re completed to a high standard.
* Monitor reporting and dashboards for clients, analysing results with Google Analytics and other statistics.
* You’ll deliver SEO work for clients including technical audits, keyword research and on-page optimisation.
* You will speak to clients regularly to update them on progress and results, answering any questions they have and making them feel confident in your ability.
* You will write ad copy and work with designers to brief in creative ads, keeping them in line with brand guidelines but also compelling to potential customers.
* Day-to-day, you will get hands-on with accounts to build campaigns, manage budgets, tweak ads, find what’s working and not working and ensure the account stays in good health
* Writing effective SEO content for blogs, websites and social media accounts
* Developing link building strategies
The successful applicant will be able to work independently as well as part of the wider team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape with a particularly strong understanding of SEO.
* Plenty of experience leading SEO tasks, such as technical audits, keyword research, on-page optimisation and analytics reviews.
* Experience getting hands-on with websites to make changes such as editing copy, uploading meta data or fixing problems.
* Experience meeting with clients and explaining SEO issues in a clear and easy to understand way.
* You’ll be comfortable using platforms such as Google Analytics to review client performance and drive strategy.
* You’ll have used SEO tools.
* You’ll keep up to date with industry changes.
* Experience of working with WordPress
