Our client has a permanent vacancy for an Email and CRM Marketing Executive. Through planning and delivering email marketing campaigns, you will contribute to the business growth ambitions in improving customer retention, cross sell and client engagement rates.
This role requires creative and analytical thinking, enthusiasm to develop a rigorous test and learn approach, an understanding of the role of marketing communications in driving high performing customer engagement through cross sell campaigns. Regularly analysing and reporting on campaign performance and developing new customer insight and solutions to evolve campaign performance. Main point of contact for supporting the business with any client communication requirements
Role
Contribute to the B2B digital marketing strategy by implementing and delivering a customer retention, cross sell and engagement plan for all clients and all products; which supports the commercial growth targets
▪ Responsible for creating all B2B client comms; building emails in HubSpot, segmentation and workflow creation, testing, deploying and analysing campaigns all year round
▪ Ensure appropriate planning and management of each campaign, supporting timely, high quality delivery and content
▪ Define KPIs for each campaign and rigorously analyse the results, suggesting improvements and testing new ideas. Carrying out A/B multivariate testing
▪ Working across multiple business areas for implementation and execution of comms
▪ Regular reporting and analysis of all campaigns. Working on data segmentation and post-campaign analysis and communicating your findings to key stakeholders
▪ Develop data driven trigger based communications and newsletter communications for the existing clients
▪ Responsible for all email content/copy writing and for briefing the creative team on email requirements
▪ Support the planning, design and production process for catalogue, direct mail and print media campaigns
Use a data driven approach to make commercial decisions on product selection for cross sell and retention campaigns
▪ Have awareness of competitor activity and market movements
▪ Support with ad hoc client comms requested by the business
▪ Occasionally leading on event management – F2F and virtually
▪ Supporting and actively contributing to the B2B Marketing team’s ambition to become the best high performing data driven digital team within the Group
▪ Putting the client at the heart of all marketing initiative, appropriately challenge thinking to ensure the buyer journey is addressed and comms are customer centric
▪ Assess, report and provide insight on all B2B marketing campaign activities with a focus on continually improving performance and results, across the team.
Requirements
Degree level educated – preferable (ideally in Digital Marketing and /or CRM Marketing)
At least 3 years’ experience in an email marketing role, ideally within B2B
Hands-on experience of using HubSpot to build and send emails
Data literate, passionate about analysing results and motivated by driving success in the form of revenue and profit
Exceptional attention to detail and creative flair
Strong communication and copy writing skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst remaining calm when under pressure
Experience in using Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel
Adept at managing multiple projects and able to prioritise your workload accordingly
Pro-active ‘do-er’, keen to roll your sleeves up and make a difference
Results focused – has a hunger for not only achieving KPIs but smashing them out of the park
Great communicator – a confident people-person, you’ll have the ability to build close-knit relationships with key internal and external people
