Growing Ecommerce business seeks Digital Marketing Assistant for their international business as they continue to grow across Europe.
Established UK based ,multi-brand business needs to boost its online presence and is now recruiting for this key role.
My Client is an established ecommerce retailer which they combine with a well-established retail presence. As well as a strong UK base , they are expanding rapidly into Europe , so a knowledge of these markets would be an added bonus.
Key responsibilities
1.Assist the Digital team by managing the website with a commercial focus to implement promotional plan across digital channels
2.Update the website product catalogue; including adding new products, pricing and stock updates, descriptions, images and video
3.Schedule and implement online merchandising plans
4.Work closely with digital partners to implement digital strategy; with particular focus on affiliate marketing and email marketing campaigns
5.Manage post-purchase customer communications, including working with external partners to manage customer product and service reviews
6.Assist in continuously improving the on-site customer journey through website development pipeline; testing new developments and split testing landing pages
7.Monitor website activity on a daily basis
8.Work closely with the Operations team to ensure all orders are effectively processed and stock management is in line with forecasting
9.Review invoicing & liaise with the Finance team to ensure all digital spend is in line with budgets
10.Cover for team members duties in their absence.
Any other tasks, duties and accountabilities appropriate to the job & position. The above points may change and evolve according to the needs of the business.
Knowledge and experience
Commercially and customer focused to drive results to meet sales targets
Basic content management system experience (Magento is preferable but not essential)
Knowledge of digital channels, affiliate programmes, email, PPC advertising and SEO
Knowledge of Google analytics reports and other paid search tools
Excellent written skills; both content of message and grammar/punctuation
Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple tasks through to completion
A desire to develop and grow with the needs of the business
Able to think creatively and suggest improvements and design features.
