This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful company within the telecommunications sector. A principle professional offering connectivity solutions for data centres, my client is looking for a talented Copywriter to join their busy team.
Role based in Milton Keynes with flexibility to work from home at minimum 1 or 2 days per week.

The Role
Content ideation
Formulate, review and document the AFL Hyperscale content strategy in line with marketing plan on an annual basis
Contribute to segmentation and profiling of AFL Hyperscale EMEA customers to create and understand audience personas
Explore how our portfolio of products, capabilities, and solutions can be aligned with content themes and audience needs across their buying lifecycle
Review bi-annually the AFL Hyperscale Tone of Voice document and distribute to the EMEA Marketing team, Product Management and Solutions Engineering team
Content creation
Create content consistent with the AFL Hyperscale Tone of Voice document
Conduct research and interviews with Internal Stakeholders (globally), Customers and End-users, turning information and knowledge into content
Format content including but not limited to product literature, customer stories, customer testimonials, social media posts, press releases, announcements, articles, blogs, eBooks, white papers, solution content, solution guides, catalogues, mailshots, Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising copy, video, and scripts
Ensure content compliance with legal requirements
Review, edit, copy-check all content and centrally store in a content inventory that is accessible and usable to all within AFL, AFL HS & Fujikura. Refresh and revise content as necessary or when needed
Complete content within agreed timescales
Maintain accurate content (correct spelling, grammar, punctuation)
Influence the AFL Hyperscale EMEA team to create compelling social media content in line with Tone of Voice document and Social Media Guidelines
Create, share and provide training for content creation with NAR, EMEA and teams
Campaign management and content distribution
Develop, manage, and execute content for marketing campaigns for AFL Hyperscale market segments, Data centres, Partners, and Channel
Work with the Data Centre and Channel Marketing Managers to gather insight and information to inform the content strategy
Ensure content for each campaign is forward planned and delivered on time
Review content and analyze how we can improve performance going forward and action the requirements for improvement
Identify, schedule and proliferate content to relevant digital platforms and physical channels for each Data Centre, Partner, and Channel segments
Engage and respond to audience interactions on social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit)
Cross-functional collaboration
Organize and maintain editorial calendar, located in the Marketing drive and share in advance so that the design team can create the post imagery
Work with engineering and sales teams to identify new ideas for compelling content opportunities for data centre customers
Provide marketing support and relevant skills training to sales, engineering, and customers where specific personal experience and knowledge is required
The Person:
2-3 years' experience in copywriting
Knowledge of marketing trends, including social media and technology trends
Indepth knowledge of General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and Data Privacy
Capability to create compelling Content across a range of formats from social posts to white papers
Capability to create Content optimized for SEO
Proficiency in research, analysis and interviews to build understanding of Content topic, and correctly noting references, quotes and citations
Data analysis, reporting
Knowledge of General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and Data Privacy when creating content or using customer or audience data for campaigns
Presentation and public speaking
Editing and copy checking to ensure Content is coherent, and free from spelling or grammatical errors
Project Management (5 stages: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring/Controlling, Closing)
Proficiency in commonly used marketing/branding tools:
Google Analytics including Urchin Tracking Module codes (UTMs)
Google Ads
MOZ
Yoast
ACTIVE Campaign

Hootsuite/Metricool
Proficiency in commonly used social media platforms and social media advertising:
