Our client has a permanent vacancy for Content Executive to define, plan and create the B2B Marketing content plan aligned to the overall Commercial and Marketing Strategy
You will:
Deliver high impact content strategies and assets [including whitepapers, eBooks, guides and organic social content] – using inbound marketing best practices and Search Optimisation – that will actively support the B2B lead generation process
Work with the B2B Marketing team to ensure that all content created has the necessary outreach in order to engage with the targeted audience
Manage the day-to-day content marketing budget and reporting (in line with Marketing KPIs and the business’ commercial focus) for all content marketing activity
Detail:
▪ Manage stakeholder expectations with content requirements
▪ Working under pressure in a fast pace agile environment and managing multiple campaigns simultaneously
▪ Measuring return on investment and measurement of bespoke content performance
▪ Leading the B2B team with research and creation of content to support all aspects of lead generation
▪ Managing all organic social media content
▪ Creation and execution of an annual content marketing plan which will include, but is not limited to; research pieces, whitepapers, blogs, e-books, webinars etc
▪ Explore and propose affiliates, membership groups etc in order to out-reach and engage with target audiences
▪ Apply creative input to projects from inception to production
▪ Manage regular reporting and benchmarking of activities against KPIs
▪ Manage the content marketing budget
▪ Manage the content library, ensuring assets are up to date and communicated with the wider business
▪ Manage internal and external stakeholders, including agency partners
▪ Supporting Head of Digital Marketing on B2B PR opportunities and campaigns
▪ Managing the SEO strategy
▪ Deliver an annual content plan in line with the marketing and commercial strategy within budget and achieving expected KPIs
▪ Deliver an optimised SEO strategy
▪ Grow our BLOG readership and engagement levels
▪ Enhance engagement with social media followers
Requirements:
Degree level educated – preferable (ideally in English and /or Marketing)
Previous experience – over 3 years of proven content marketing experience with demonstrable results focusing on success in driving new business leads and conversion rates. Expertise in SEO strategy and optimisation to conversion.
Results focused – has a hunger for not only achieving KPIs but smashing them out of the park
Data Driven Mindset – ability to focus on the data behind marketing
Great communicator – a people-person, you’ll have the ability to build close-knit relationships with key internal and external people
Positive and proactive – positive, can do attitude, with great initiative and can hit the ground running
Driven and passionate – someone who’s truly excited by creating exceptional content to drive results which help client growth and acquisition for one of the largest global brands
