They are looking to recruit an experienced Business Change Project Manager to work within the Marcomms team, starting 18th January 2021 until 4th June 2021, working full time and paying between £17.57ph and £20.35ph depending on experience. This role will work from home initially and equipment will be supplied.
About the role
Working within the Open University's Marketing and Communications function, the purpose of the role is to manage the design, testing and delivery of business changes, arising from a review of the high level MarComms operating model. This will encompass the end to end project cycle from specification to delivery and requires working collaboratively with stakeholders and the operating model project team to deliver changes coherently.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in project, business analysis and change management with a significant process and organisational change aspect and a proven ability to work successfully in a complex environment using both agile and waterfall approaches.
Skills and Experience
Evidence of adhering to a project methodology; identifying and scheduling project tasks and dependencies; tracking and reporting; creating and working within appropriate governance.
Experience of delivering business change into operational environments through design and implementation of new processes
Evidence of managing multiple projects or workstreams at the same time
Experience using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent skills with a variety of Office and Collaboration tools, including at least one project management tool and remote working e.g. Teams.
Pragmatic individual able to deliver within constraints and use evidence based approaches to solve problems
Able to maintain focus and adapt to changing circumstances Desirable skills
Formal project (Prince, APM) and/or Agile (Scrum, Lean, SaFe) training and qualifications
Awareness of the general Higher Education environment
