Warehouse Team Leader working closely with the Customer Experience Team required on a full time, permanent basis in Milton Keynes, benefitting from a salary in the region of £30,000 per annum.

Our client is a leading business within the Engineering industry both in the UK and Internationally. Manufacturing highly engineered components and systems for a wide variety of global markets, their products can be found in and around anything that moves.

They are currently seeking a Warehouse Coordinator / Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis in Milton Keynes, offering a salary in the region of £30,000 per annum. Working to support the Warehouse team and liaising closely with the Customer Experience Team the successful Warehouse Coordinator / Team Leader will be responsible for the management of a small team in co-ordinating their activities to maximise productivity and exceed customer expectation.

They are looking to recruit a Warehouse Coordinator / Team Leader who holds a real flare for customer service and delivering an outstanding customer experience. They are looking for those with previous experience running a team within a stores function and possess strong knowledge of warehousing processes.

WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR / TEAM LEADER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the warehouse team daily to address day-to-day tactical issues to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse
Ensure the safety of team members is always paramount.
Report any near misses or accidents,
Maintain a positive, disciplined, work focused team environment,
Attend necessary meetings, communicating and prioritising relevant information to the warehouse team,
Co-ordinate the activities of the warehouse team to maximize productivity and achieve schedule adherence/customer service requirements,
Promote effective lean practices and be a driving influence in the process of continual improvement within the assembly area,
Lead natural HPT for the Warehouse and participate in the Star Point Teams,
Carry out general warehousing tasks.
THE IDEAL WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR / TEAM LEADER:

Very good communication skills,
Ability to prioritise and organise own and others workload,
Strong motivation and a can-do attitude,
Enthusiasm for driving improvements,
General PC skills (Excel and JD Edwards would be an advantage).
WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours a week however a flexible attitude toward working hours is essential.

PAY: In the region of £30,000 per annum & 25 days Holiday Entitlement
