The Role
Due to an increase in demand for our products and the introduction of new products onto the site, we are recruiting for various roles within our Factory Operations Team. We now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Warehouse (Site Supply) Team Leader to join our Factory Operations Team at Milton Keynes.
As a Site Supply Team Leader, you will report into the Site Supply Manager and will be responsible for motivating and managing your own team to meet performance targets and the required Company Standards. You will be responsible for driving the performance of your team to ensure the daily Site Supply plan is achieved whilst ensuring the Warehouse and Raw Materials Storage work
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Co-ordinate daily supply activities and resource to ensure effective supply to production, and optimise storage capacity and customer service performance.
* Participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing activities including root cause analysis assessments to identify corrective actions to reduce / eliminate issues
* Drive the performance of the returns process / pallet rotation and cycle count processes and audits.
* Motivate and manage your team to meet performance targets; identifying development areas relating to skills and implement plans to enhance standards within the team.
* Lead effective handovers with oncoming Team Leads/Managers to provide an update on any safety, quality, people, delivery or cost issues arisen during your
* Ensure timely completion of Probation Reviews, Investigations/Disciplinary Processes, Return to Work Interviews and Absence Management meetings for your team
About You
We are looking for an engaging and motivating Warehouse Leader, ideally with experience within an FMCG environment. You'll be a confident communicator, well organised and have great attention to detail. You'll understand the importance of working to approved standards and safe operating procedures, as well as the ability to operate manufacturing equipment with an understanding of continuous improvement.
Salary & Benefits
This is a shift based role, working on a 24/7 shift pattern, working 4 on 4 off. 12 hour shifts (6.00am to 6.00pm / 6.00pm to 6.00am) 2 days, 2 nights and 4 off.
The role of Warehouse Team Leader (S4) comes with a package including an hourly rate of £12.45 plus shift allowance (annual salary of £29,267.00), a generous holiday allowance, a pension scheme, life assurance and free onsite parking
