Forklift Driver – Permanent Job

We are the world’s largest independent drink’s bottler, manufacturer of some of the world’s best-known brands. Due to an increase in demand for our products and the introduction of new products onto the site, we are recruiting for various roles within our Factory Operations Team. We now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our Factory Operations Team at Milton Keynes.
About the Role
We are looking for motivated and talented Warehouse Operatives / Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join our great team. As a Warehouse Operative/ Forklift Driver, you will ideally have experience as a Counterbalance Forklift driver. However, full training can be provided on site should you not have previous experience or have an expired license. We want this to be the start of a long Refresco career for you. You will also learn from experts from a world class drink’s manufacturer.
At Milton Keynes, we operate on a 24/7 basis. As a Warehouse Operative you will work on a shift basis, working 24/7 – which is a 4 on 4 off pattern – 2 days, 2 nights and 4 off. 6am to 6pm & 6pm to 6am.
Please note that you must have a valid FLT licence.

What are your daily tasks as a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver?
Receive, put away, pick and despatch pallets of raw materials or finished goods from our warehouses on Double Handler FLTs.
Use Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) such as counterbalance, reach trucks, ride-on or Pedestrian Operated trucks.
Clean, lubricate and complete basic maintenance on FLT equipment and palletisers to agreed standards.
Work to minimise waste and promote recycling.
Report any non-conformances to Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and support with corrective action activities.
Ensure all relevant quality checks are completed and record these on the appropriate system
Contribute to meeting team and company-wide targets
