Our client, a leading medical manufacturer and distributor based in High Wycombe, are looking for Warehouse Operatives. Duties would include informing the Quality Department if there are any issues with raw or finished products. You would also be expected to query any unsuitable products with the Quality Department and senior management and to assist in supervising loading/unloading of lorries.
The role holder would be required to complete all assignments and activities requested by the Line Manager in a timely manner.
This role is a temporary role with scope to go permanent for the right candidate.
The candidate would be expected to be flexible with working patterns and to undertake any other duties that may be necessary.
There are 2 shift patterns available paying £8.91 per hour. Once the role goes permanent the pay rate will be as follows:
Shift 1: 6am – 2pm pay rate £10.03 per hour
Shift 2: 2pm – 10pm pay rate £10.92 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating machinery and ensuring all products correlate to production sheets and ISO13485 standards.
* Completing relevant record books and documentation.
* Checking products for quality issues.
* Making necessary adjustments to machines and solving technical issues which arise during the production process.
* General maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
* Ensuring all products produced correlate to the production lot book.
* Produce printed labels with the correct information.
* Able to lift heavy/bulky products.
* Select the correct inner and outer packaging in relation to the products being packed.
* Ensure all finished products are stacked correctly and stored in the correct location
* Order assembly and despatch for U.K. and export.
* Build orders in line with customer requirements using a picking scanner.
* Ensure all items on pallets are stacked safely.
* Able to lift heavy/bulky products.
* Load and unload lorries/containers using a fork truck (subject to training).
* Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed correctly.
Key Skills/Experience:
* Must have basic literacy, numeracy & computer skills, good level of fitness, logical thinking and pride in finished product
* Able to observe strict health & safety standards
* Operating MHE (subject to training)
