A leader within their industry, with operations in over 50 countries, our client is seeking a UK 3PL Logistics Manager to join them on a permanent basis and manage the safe operation of both Transport and Warehousing activities, ensuring best service delivery to both internal and external customers.

Working from both Buckinghamshire and Home, you will have 9 direct reports, across both Transport and Warehousing, with responsibility over multiple DC operations across the UK. Your role as UK 3PL Logistics Manager will involve maintaining progressive relationships, communications, and processes, with Customer Services, Suppliers and Customers to assure performance to time, cost, and quality.

Key Responsibilities as UK 3PL Logistics Manager –

– Schedule all warehouse activities, customer deliveries and collections, and inter-site transports, ensuring SLAs are adhered to and OTIF targets are met

– Managing 3PL transport operations, with a focus on performance management and improving on inefficiencies

– Cost Management, creating weekly KPI and Cost reports and ensuring invoices and self-billings are paid on time

Key experience and skills required for the position of UK 3PL Logistics Manager –

– Experience working across both Warehousing and Transport, ideally within large operations (upwards of 50 trucks per day)

– 3PL management, ideally dealing with outsourced transport operations, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met and attending performance reviews

– Highly systems driven and analytical, with experience using SAP alongside TMS and WMS.
