An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Training Manager for a fantastic well-known food brand based in Buckinghamshire. Our client who are real foodies are front runners in their niche marketspace and have created a brand and products which are award winning.
They are looking for an energetic talented individual to join a friendly and supportive team with a fantastic, fun working atmosphere. This really is an innovative, high quality manufacturer which supplies to various retailers throughout the UK and into food service.
Responsibilities
As Training Manager, you will be:
* Responsible for implementing and delivering colleague training as directed by Operations, HR, Technical, H&S and engineering.
* You will contribute to the training decisions by the management team and be responsible for all associated data, information and documentation
* Identify training and development needs through job analysis, human resources, and operations departments (This may be through initial training, retraining or organised externally supplied training)
* Monitor training or retraining that is needed
* Ensure that those working in specific areas are currently in a training program or have already been trained in the position.
* Train all employees whether they be contractors, agency workers or permanent colleagues
* This includes being on the factory floor and working with production colleagues teaching procedures and machinery use
* Develop and deliver effective induction programs
Personal Profile
We are looking for an organised and driven individual who has previous training experience, most preferably within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
You will be confident, motivated, and positive and be able to make rational decisions in deadline driven situations. Excellent interpersonal skills and the enjoyment of working with teams on a regular basis is essential.
Formal education/qualifications including Human Resources, CIPD, management training or a related discipline is highly desirable.
Working Hours
Our client operates 24/7 so the working hours will need to be determined to suit the requirements of the business but it is anticipated this could be Monday to Friday 2-10pm or on a rotational 6-2, 2-10 pattern. There may occasional be need at weekends for which a day off in the week will be given.
