A great opportunity has arisen for a Training Manager to join a leading, global manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes that specialise in construction products. The company are continuously growing and now require an experienced, customer focused, L&D Manager to define and deliver a learning and development strategy that meets customer organisational needs across the business.

The suitable Training Manager will have a background working within a manufacturing, construction or engineering company previously. The role is focused on providing learning and development needs to the company's customers rather than in-house L&D Management.

TRAINING MANAGER Position Overview

Design, create and promote training programmes
Create and deliver learning content across multiple platforms
Identify business development needs for learning programmes
Create and maintain a learning framework processes and procedures for training access, delivery and administration.
Identify and liaise with external training providers
Work closely with commercial teams to establish successful customer on-boarding and training programmes.
Recruit, train and manage the training team to ensure organisational needs are met.

TRAINING MANAGER Position Requirements

Up to date knowledge and experience of training and L&D
Experienced trainer and facilitator
Strong data analysis including ROI and performance data
Demonstrable experience of L&D working with customers/clients
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment or technical, I.T or personal development
Experience of creating a range of training and assessment interventions.
T. literate
Experience of digital training tools, e-learning techniques and delivery methods.

TRAINING MANAGER Position Remuneration

Starting salary of £45,000 – £50,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
