Toolmaker / CNC Machinist required to join a well-established design and manufacturing company within the automotive sector, based in the Buckingham area. The successful candidate will be responsible maintenance, repairs and improvement on all tooling in line with customer requirements.

Toolmaker / CNC machinist Position Overview

Making improvements on Tooling
CNC Machining a Hurco VMC – 3 Axis machine
Tooling strip down and diagnosis for repair
Support production areas in Technical assessment of tooling issues
Complete tool reports and ordering of spare parts
Maintain spare parts system
Comply with company standards

Toolmaker / CNC machinist Position Requirements

Experience within a Toolmaker role or similar previously
Experience with CNC machines
Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings
Planning and prioritising activities.
Good Communication and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of lean manufacturing
Live within a commutable distance to Buckingham

Toolmaker / CNC machinist Position Remuneration

Full time – Permanent
Various shifts available, day shift, late shift or night shift
Shift allowance: Late shift +20%, Night shift +33%
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
28 days holiday (including bh)
