Supply Chain Assistant

Milton Keynes (office based)

Permanent

£24,000 per annum

To work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and other colleagues to support the stock levels, process purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, general administration and various other aspects of Supply Chain management.

Key Responsibilities

To process purchase requisitions, raise and book in purchase orders, and manage supplier returns.
To manage purchase orders, review order confirmations, chase suppliers for deliveries, and update NAV dates accordingly.
To schedule deliveries (containers) including managing documentation.
To obtain quotes for import and export shipment arrangements.
To maintain accuracy of NAV system including costs, reorder levels, BOMs (existing and new), item cards, etc.
Update out of stock spreadsheet, and liaise with Customer Service team regarding stuck orders.
To administrate and be involved with stock takes, as and when required.
To own stock adjustments following stock takes (annual and cyclical), and oversee investigation of stock discrepancies.
Maintain slow moving stock report and supplier spend and performance records.
To liaise with the Senior Finance Assistant with regard cost management and discrepancies.
To work with the Supply Chain Manager in forecasting and maintaining stock levels.
To calculate list prices and undertake margin analysis as required.
To assist with supplier assessments, product reviews, and quality/audit reports. Role advertsied 11th November 2021
