A light at the end of the doom and gloom Covid tunnel? We are looking to further the career of a Manufacturing Manager (FMCG) with this rare and highly rewarding opportunity as Shift Manager to join a company supplying into the food industry.

You will report into the Site Manager and have responsibility for delivering day-to-day operational excellence and lead all manufacturing and product resource within site. Supporting the warehouse operation in order to contribute to the optimisation of overall plant performance. You will specifically be focusing on costings, quality, people, safety and service across all shifts.

You will also be expected to fully manage and investigate the root causes of customer / supplier complaints and ensure all procedures and processes are adhered to.

Another key deliverable will be to successfully implement procedures for the largest operation/system within the factory, liaising with the appropriate systems and supply managers to ensure best performance of products.

FMCG experience is essential, food manufacturing experience is even better.

It goes without saying, but the ability to communicate with other functions within the factory is imperative so as to achieve upmost efficiency, quality and overall customer satisfaction.

You will also need strong proven track record of previous managerial roles, with the oversight of a team as well as direct use of lean methods and tools.
