* Basic Salary £28,000 – £32,000 (OTE £45,000 – £55,000)
We are currently looking to recruit 2 Service Engineers for a client of ours based in the Milton Keynes area. You will need to live within an hour of Milton Keynes as you will be required to be onsite when you are in the UK to complete machine testing, pre-installation and build checks.
This role will predominately be travelling worldwide to customer sites conducting machine installation and machine servicing, you need to be willing to stay away from home for between 1 – 3 weeks at a time outside of the UK. On target earnings will exceed £45,000, our client pays you an allowance for working outside of the UK.
Duties and responsibilities as a Service Engineer:
* Service and maintenance of machinery
* Conducting planned maintenance activities
* Machine installation and commissioning
* Conducting PLC fault-finding and diagnostic
* Able to read and understand engineering drawings
* Machine testing, fault-finding and pre-installation checks
* Electrical fault-finding and diagnostics
* Dealing with customers all around the world
* Training at customer sites when required
* Providing technical support and guidance to customers
Experience/Qualifications required:
* Maintenance/Service Experience (Minimum 5 Years)
* Packaging, Printing or Conversion Machine Experience (Essential)
* Engineering Qualification (C&G, NVQ, BTEC, ONC, HNC, Degree or similar)
You must be willing to travel worldwide, with the expectation of working away from home regularly.
