The Role
As a Senior Land Surveyor you will plan and execute differing sized projects and manage timescales. You will have a thorough understanding of the application of Health and safety and QA and must be able to work methodically using your initiative to problem solve and liaise with clients when necessary.
You should have the ability to communicate with clients and colleagues in a professional manner and brief other members of the survey team. The ability to recognise problems and recognise if these are within your ability to solve or to refer to more senior staff is essential for this role, as is the ability to plan and execute small to medium sized surveys involving several survey teams.
The Requirements
* Effective communication skills and a consultative approach
* A relevant technical degree/HND in surveying or related discipline
* Competent in the use of Trimble/Trimble Business Centre and Realworks/Leica Total stations and GPS and laser scanner AutoCad and SCC surveying software producing 2D and 3D models
* Strong working knowledge of MS office word, excel, outlook and PowerPoint
* A strong team player with the ability to motivate and share knowledge with others
* Flexible and adaptable
* Customer focussed
* Able to build and maintain strong working relationships
* Sound understanding of health and safety
* Process compliant
* Highly organised and able to work to deadlines
* Committed to personal development
* Sound technical acumen
* Full UK driving licence
