A superb opportunity to take on a Sales Director role developing a strategy for growth and managing a field sales team of 8 and circa £10millionturnover. Real prospects to become Managing Director in the next 3 to 5 years with this well established, well respected supplier of printing and packaging machinery systems to the digital, litho, post press & finishing markets.
BASIC SALARY: up to £80,000

LOCATION: Covering the whole UK but ideally office based and commutable to the office in Hertfordshire.
A negotiable relocation package is available if you are prepared to relocate.
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Milton Keynes, Oxford, Luton, Watford, Slough, Cambridge, Northampton, Aylesbury.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Director / National Sales Manager – Printing & Packaging Machinery
A classic Sales Director role reporting to the Managing Director and managing the companies field sales team of 8 and circa £10million turnover to achieve set sales targets and to develop a strategy for growth.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Director/ National Sales Manager – Printing & Packaging Machinery
· You WILL have a proven track record as a Sales Director or National Sales Manager managing a similar sized sales team.
· You WILL have experience within and a good knowledge of the digital, litho, post press & finishing print markets & you WILL have experience of selling capital equipment to the print market.
· Any experience of working for a distributor or sales & service office of a foreign manufacturer would be advantageous.
· You will be ambitious and actively will be seeking a role where you can progress if successful into a Managing Director role in the medium term.
· Any engineering qualifications would also be advantageous but are not essential.
