We are recruiting for a Remelt Operator Assistant.

Job description

* To fully comply with all Health, Safety and environmental requirements while carrying out duties. In particular:

* Assess and manage risk for all activity.

* To fully comply with all work instructions.

* Compliance with all PPE requirements.

* To ensure that all storage areas are safe, neat, and tidy.

* To monitor the levels of material in the three foundry furnaces.

* To load the correct material (ingots or scrap) onto the furnace material lift.

* To use handling equipment to push material into the furnace.

* To remove the dross from the molten material at the end of the shift.

* To report any concerns or anything unusual to the Remelt Operator.

Night Shift – 4on and 3off: Monday 12.30pm – 6pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 6am – 6pm.
