Quality/ Order Processor
£10ph rising to £10.80ph after 12 weeks
Milton Keynes

We have an opportunity for a Quality/Order Processor at our manufacturing client in Milton Keynes. We're looking for a focused individual with good attention to detail who can inspect and assess the quality of materials and then process for dispatch. 

Responsibilities 

Quality Inspection & Material Assessment 
Using Microscopes & Visual aids for component/tools inspection
Using Lab Equipment for basic quality assessment (microscopes, hardness testers, quality control software)
Translating customer orders into manufacturing routes, using our Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system
Controlling operations using MRP
Using Courier Software (UPS/Parcel Force)
Using Basic Excel/Word/Outlook
Using measuring equipment (Vernier Callipers, Rulers, Scales etc.)
Using Cameras
Unpacking
Packing
Manual Handling

Requirements

Basic Literacy , Numeracy , English Language.
Basic Computer Literacy (Word , Excel etc)
Manual Dexterity

Desirable but not essential

Previous experience of hand tools/engineering practices
Experience of SAP
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to read an engineering/technical drawings
Hours

This working hours for this role is a 37.5 hour week with rotating shifts (one week on each) as below:

Early : 5:00-13:00 
Late : 13:30-21:30 The company also operates a night shift (21:30 – 05:00) however, this is not currently active and would run on a volunteer basis only.

Overtime (when available) will be on Saturday mornings @1.5x Hourly and Weekdays @1.25x  Hourly Rate.
