QESH Manager

Marsworth

Salary – £55,000 + 3% bonus

Site based role – Monday to Friday with flexible hours

TXM Recruit are partnering up with are global multi-site business that manufacture across several packaging product categories, supplying into strong markets within pharmaceuticals, medical devices and FMCG. As QESH Manager you will take the lead for the site in managing all aspects of quality assurance, health & safety, and environmental. This is an excellent time to join the business, with their industry continuing to grow and with the site enjoying recent investment- you will have immediate projects supporting the integration of new tooling & equipment.

QESH Manager Responsibilities:

You to be hands on, in the management and process improvement related to the Quality Management System
Be proactive in taking the lead for cross divisional teams towards continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives as an active member of the plant leadership team
Be proactive in maintaining and update all H&S, QA, and Compliance databases (Safety Observations, Close Occurrence, IR’s, Controlled Change Requests, Training) and follow through with a course of preventative action /training
Identify and evaluate potential Regulatory Affairs projects, improvements, and development   activities.
Maintain compliance and administration of the company’s H&S, ISO, GMS systems, and all Regulatory processes, policies, and procedures in line with relevant legislation and company requirementsExperience required:

Previous management experience: people management & staff development/ project management
10+ years of balanced experience across Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, current Regulatory Requirements, and Industry Standards
Experience in lean manufacturing techniques
You will have a previous track-record in creating or implementing improved quality management systems or SOPs.Site based with occasional travel to 2 European sites.
