Refresco is the largest independent bottler of soft drinks and fruit juices in the world. We manufacture for brands such as Innocent, Ocean Spray, Weetabix, Del Monte and Um Bongo. We produce private label soft drinks and fruit juices for all the leading retailers including Tesco, ASDA, Morrison’s, Sainsburys, ALDI and Lidl. We are looking for keen and talented Production Team Leader to join our vibrant team.
At our Milton Keynes canning site we, we have two high speed lines producing drinks brands that you’ll know and love as well as our own branded products.

At Milton Keynes, we operate on a 24/7 basis. Our Shift patterns include:
24/7 (42 hours per week): 4 on 4 off pattern 2 days, 2 nights and 4 days off.
The role of Production Team Leader (P4) comes with a package including an hourly rate of £15.07 plus shift allowance (annual salary of £35,407.48).

About the role
As a key member of the Production Leadership Team, You will have the opportunity to you manage a small team and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and Learn Manufacturing activities including leading short interval control and root cause analysis assessments.
Responsibilities also include (but are not limited to):
* Fulfilling the production plan requirements and demonstrating an audit ready production environment at all times.
* Auditing all monitoring systems required by the Company to ensure compliance with Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and identifying and implementing corrective actions.
* Managing non-conformance processes and corrective action activities to ensure compliance with Company Policies/Procedures/Standards.
* Lead effective handovers with oncoming Team Leads/Managers to provide an update on any safety, quality, people, delivery or cost issues arisen during your
* Ensure timely completion of Probation Reviews, Investigations/Disciplinary Processes, Return to Work Interviews and Absence Management meetings for your team
About You
You’ll be a natural leader with excellent coaching and influencing skills with the ability to motivate others and achieve outstanding results. In order to successfully lead your team, you will be a confident communicator, well organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure making well thought out decisions.
You will have good IT skills with the ability to input data into in house systems (and / or SAP) and analyse this to provide meaningful data and reports for others e.g. downtime reports for the Production Manager. You will also be competent using the Microsoft Office suite of packages
