Our UK Business has six manufacturing plants providing a great place to work for 1500 employees producing private label soft drinks and fruit juices for all the leading retailers including Tesco, ASDA, Morrison’s, Sainsburys, ALDI and Lidl. We also manufacture for branded customers such as Innocent, Ocean Spray, Weetabix, Del Monte and Um Bongo. Whether it’s packed in cartons, bottles or cans, we ensure that our products are made to the highest quality standards but they get where they need to be when they need to get there to meet the needs of our high profile customers.
About the Role
We have excellent opportunities for experienced Production Team Leaders to join our Operations Team at Milton Keynes.
As a Production Team Leader, you will report into the Production Manager and will be responsible for motivating and managing your own team to meet performance targets and the required Company Standards. You will be responsible for driving the performance of the Production equipment and machinery to maximise OEE performance ensuring the site is audit ready at all times.
You will have the opportunity to participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and Lean Manufacturing activities including leading short interval control and root cause analysis assessments.
About You
As a key member of the Production Leadership Team, you will consistently demonstrate our Company Values and show flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
You will have experience gained within an FMCG environment working to set Standards and key performance indicators, whilst managing a small team. A sound knowledge of Health and Safety and Quality Standards, with the ability to ensure your team consistently achieve the standards expected within Refresco is also required.
In order to successfully lead your team, you will be a confident communicator, well organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure making well thought out decisions.
You will ideally have experience inputting and analysing data in IT Quality Based System and Production Performance Software and be competent using the Microsoft suite of packages
