Quality Personnel are recruiting for a 4 month temporary booking to start in August (possibility of extension past 4 months).
You should have worked at Production Supervisor level and have excellent knowledge of production process and environment.
In addition to have a good knowledge of the safe handling of chemicals and their disposal.
You’ll need to have a general knowledge of facilities and maintenance.
Main duties:
Production
Managing the day-to day production of “concentrate” in accordance processing instructions and controls. Raw material planning to “just in time” methodology, ensuring continuous availability of all materials required for “concentrate” production.
Plant Maintenance
All production plant machinery to be maintained to the required schedules, including the mixing dashboard, calibration of dials, mixing vessels and pumps.
Warehousing & Raw Materials Storage
Procurement of raw materials, effective storage of products, implementing and monitoring housekeeping functions.
A counterbalance license is required in-order-to load and move the 200 litre barrels in and around the warehouse.
Take inbound deliveries from Tankers, ensure the material goes into the right container.
Keeping the warehouse grease free, weekly cleaning of the warehouse with the pressure washer.
Basic Excel is required to load requirements in relation to orders for 3-month forecast.
Place orders and raise purchase orders for print ensuring the correct paperwork of stock deliveries to to UK and Europe.
Hours of work 7.30 am until 4 pm however this could change to 9 am- 5.30 pm.
