Production Supervisor
We are looking for a production Supervisor to join our team.
The job consists of blending and packing powders in the superfoods sector.
We require someone who is comfortable working alone. The team will expand in the future so leadership qualities would serve you well in the company’s progression.
The job requires you to be physically fit and able to lift boxes up to 25kg at one time.
We require a confident enthusiastic person to work within our dynamic business.
We are looking for someone who is always searching for ways to improve and push efficiency.
Production Supervisor Responsibilities include
* Ensuring product is produced in a timely manner and to a high standard
* Completing paperwork
* Managing raw ingredient stock levels
* Strong time management qualities
* Ensuring the production area is kept clean and tidy
* Checking product quality
* Maintaining production equipment
Production Supervisor Requirements
* Numeracy skills
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene practices within the food manufacturing industry
* Good understanding of how production equipment works
* Ability to detect potential problems with machinery
* Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures
* Ability to lift heavy loads and transfer them manually
* Good communication and teamwork skills
Production Supervisor Key Responsibilities
* Mixing, weighing and packing of raw materials
* Helping to establish procedures and processes.
* Rotating stock and tracking batches/best before dates.
* Maintaining daily paperwork.
* Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment
