A well reputed and and long established manufacturing organisation in the Milton Keynes area are seeking to recruit a Production Planner experienced with SAP.  

The production planner will be a pivotal part of the manufacturing operation through optimising plant production with effective machine scheduling, production orders and clear communication of materials requirements. 

The Production Planner role: 

– Planning and scheduling of orders to most appropriate production line. 
– Communicate effectively with customer service and account management with regards to order progress and capacity. 
– Generation of production orders and schedules. 
– Inform internal stakeholders of production priorities. 
– Active involvement with New Product Introduction activities to ensure effective introduction.
– Plan production on a rolling three month basis to generate raw material orders. 
– Primary SAP user and Trainer on site (SAP Production planning) 

The Successful Production planner: 

– You will have a minimum of three years relevant work experience within a production and material planning role. 
– Strong proven experience with SAP planning software is essential to be considered. 
– Ideally degree qualified in a business related subject but other qualifications will be considered, as will qualification through experience. 
– High Level of IT literacy.
