Our client is currently looking for a Production Operative based in Milton Keynes.

Main role of Production Operative:
To manufacture hydraulic hose assemblies to an accurate and high standard in accordance with company procedures.
To efficiently handle, pick, rotate and ship inventory within a team environment.

Main duties of Production Operative:
•Accurately carrying out instructions issued using a variety of techniques including goods in, cutting, swaging and marking, Adjusting and operating machinery as necessary to a safe standard once training has been given or authorized in using safe and regularly maintained tools and machinery.
•To provide a safe and quality product using high working standards and components, following correct assembly methods.
•Carrying out relevant quality inspections
•Packing goods for dispatch or storage in a manner that will minimize the possibility of damage
•Labelling packages for dispatch
•Responsible for reporting any processing problems or errors to relevant supervisor
•Reporting any faults found with any machinery or installation

Key Competencies (includes skills)
•Good communication skills
•Basic IT Skills desirable
•High attention to detail
•Production experience desirable but not essential
•Team player able to think on their feet and work unsupervised

Own car is essential.
This is a Monday to Friday job( 37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £8.90/hr ( PAYE)
Temporary to Permanent position
