Production Operative

£25000-£35000 per annum + bonus + generous pension scheme

Milton Keynes

Due to an employee retiring a market leading manufacturer is recruiting for a Production Operative to join the team.

The Production Operative will be required to manage all production lines and to achieve productivity targets while following Health and Safety rules at all times

Key tasks

* Controlling process of mixing, melting, extruding, cooling, drying and cutting through all machines

* Completing production reports

* Using reach and counterbalance forklift

* Ensuring that H&S rules are followed on site

* Ensuring quality standards are adhered to at all times

* Assisting with packaging of finished product

* Reporting any breakdowns immediately to the Shift Supervisor or the Maintenance Engineer

* Deputise for the Shift Controller when needed

We are looking for an individual with good manufacturing background, good level of secondary education especially in Maths and English and can do attitude. Must have good IT skills (Microsoft Office) Counterbalance forklift license is highly desirable for this role.
