Barker Ross are currently looking for production operatives to join busy client based in Old Wolverton, Milton Keynes.

This is temp to perm role so you will be offered permanent contract aftr succesful 12 weeks.

Shift pattern:

Monday: 9am-6pm

Tuesday / Wed / Thurs – 9am-7pm

However, they are preparing to go into two shifts which means you must be able to work the new shift hours when they are ready to change (hopefully Jan or Feb) to the hours below:

Four-Weekly alternating shift: Shift One; Mon to Thursday: 7am-4pm and Fridays: 7am-1pm. Shift Two; Monday – Wednesday 1pm – 11am, Thursday 1pm – 10pm. Plus additional hours as and when required

Pay Rate:

£10.95 up to £12.59 depending on shift pattern, to be reviewed after 6 months

Reporting to: Cutting Line Team Leader

Main Function of the Role

To produce customers' orders in accordance with the company's QMS Policy

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Follow safe practice and culture.

Strict adherence to company Policies.

OPERATIONS

To operate machines in production.

Packing materials ready for despatch.

Picking parts to jobsheet.

Assembling, packing, and labelling finished goods in preparation for shipping.

Cleaning machinery and other parts in production in accordance with internal company's standard.

Adhoc duties.

Working predominantly on the CNC Cutting Line, slitting, cutting, picking, packing and baling.

SKILLS

The ability to work in a busy environment.
Strong sense of organisation.

The ability to work within and team and solo when required.

Excellent verbal communication.

Ability to read and write English word.

Ensure good housekeeping is maintained in your areas.

Production experience is not necessary as full training will be given.

This job description may be subject to review on a regular basis with amendments being made from time to time as appropriate to keep pace with the evolving needs of the business.
