Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives who take pride in their work, will take ownership of their part of the production process and who are committed to delivering high quality products for our customers. We are keen to find the right candidates who want to grow and progress within the company and receive training and development.

Production Operative Responsibilities:

Control and manage equipment and machines in your work area (Mixing or Packing)
Monitor the smooth process of you area, ensuring checks are done and reacting quickly in case of discrepancy
Follow the company procedures on Food Safety, Traceability, Hygiene and Health & Safety
Complete the required paperwork and enter the relevant information into our systems
Participate in the cleaning of the production facility with your team

Production Operative Requirements:

You must have the ability to work safely, be quality conscious, adhere to good manufacturing practices, communicate effectively, work effectively as an individual and as part of a team, achieve the daily production plan and use computerised systems.

Some experience working in a busy production position, however full training is available for the right person who is willing to learn.

It is essential to have an above and beyond attitude which demonstrates the skills required for this role such as; having exceptional interpersonal skills, flexible attitude and approach to work, and ability to communicate clearly.

Location: Milton Keynes

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time, working on a continental shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, rotating between 06.00am to 18.00pm day shifts and 18.00pm to 06.00am night shifts.

Salary: £19,500 per annum, plus £1,272 night shift allowance per annum.

Benefits: 6% Bonus, Company Pension Plan, Westfield Health Plan, Company Sick Pay and Income Protection Plan, Death in Service (all subject to length of service.)
