Print Finisher

Location: Buckinghamshire

Salary: DOE

Company: A leading packaging and labels manufacturer.

Role: Operating high speed finishing machine with accuracy and efficiency

The role includes the operation of a print finishing machine converting printed self-adhesive labels. This is a quality control check in our production process, and it is important the candidate has a good eye for detail.

* Operation of print finishing machinery with accuracy and efficiency

* Setup, control, and run print finishing machine and rotary die cutting and QC inspect product, according to standard operating procedures and work instructions

* Monitor quality and consistency of product, identifying and remove all non-conforming product, set up and in-process waste, and place into correct waste stream

* To always understand and work to BRC Packaging & Printing Issue 6 standard

* Packing and labelling finished goods with pride

* Housekeeping

Requirements:

* Experience within a print and labels manufacturer

* Previous experience of manufacturing machinery operation is advantageous though not essential (on site training will be given)

* Good eye for detail

* Proven work experience in a busy manufacturing environment role

* Excellent organisational skills with a passion for high housekeeping standard
