This individual will lead a small planning team in busy food manufacturing environment. Before reading further, a background in food manufacturing or FMCG is essential.
The role will involve:
Leading the planning team
Managing the day to day planning for the factory
Working closely with the production planners on attainment to plan
Communicating clearly with other departments
Being proactive
The role really needs a proactive individual who understands the dynamics of supplying the major food retailers. From raw materials, inventory, right through to packing, ensuring everything this site needs is in place to meet their demanding schedule. They do manufacture to stock to a certain degree but nevertheless, you need to be a quick-thinking individual for this role.
This is an ambitious business and the Supply Chain Manager is a motivated and highly team focussed individual. He is keen to bring in an individual who believes in the 'one team' ethos and values a positive and cohesive working culture.
As part of a bigger group the future prospects in terms of personal development are tangible.
