Our client based in Milton Keynes are looking for Food Production Operatives to join their growing team in their Bakery.Their Milton Keynes Bakery is home state-of-the-art, high volume, automated site producing branded products for all the major retailers.

Monday to Thursday
6am-6pm – £10.25
6pm-6am – £10.25 + one off payment per night shift of £26.68 as a premium
Occasional Sunday shifts requiredJob Description;

Demonstrates good general knowledge of food safety
Understands and can explain the importance of hand washing
Routinely demonstrates the correct changing procedure and can explain the importance / dangers of not following
Understands which allergens are controlled on site, can explain what controls are in place in their area
Understands and can explain the reporting procedure for any equipment errors or faults that may occur
Can explain the importance of wearing PPE correctly
Understands and follows sites procedures when handling allergens
Can explain what "clean as you go" means
Demonstrates understanding of colour coding and can explain what colour equipment is used in their area.Experience;

May have limited or no previous experience in food manufacturing
Requires regular support, supervision required
Training is ongoingRequired Skills;

Good standard of verbal and written English
Good communication skills
Ability to follow instructions
Flexible to vary tasks undertaken and can complete repetitive tasks diligently and quickly
Demonstrates good team working
Has good attendance and is punctual, arriving in work area on time.
