Purpose of Position
* To provide admin support for the Operations function including, but not limited to, production and finance.
Key accountabilities
* Liaison with Production / Finance
* Keep Time and Attendance folder updated
* Update personnel files
* Control holidays and absence processes
* PPE/Locker management for production employees
* Control issuing of work wear
* Booking training
* Inductions
* Stationary ordering
* Produce invoicing and purchase orders as required
* Placing of orders with suppliers for maintenance and production
* Continuous improvement of processes and procedures
* First point of contact for visitors
* Operation of switchboard
* Post in and out
* Sales invoice generation and distribution to customers and logistics
* Manage customs clearance information
Job requirements
* Ability to “self-manage” own work
* Intermediate experience of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Confident and outgoing personality
The role holder is expected:
* to comply with all aspects of the MDC Precision Compliance Policy
* to ensure that all the business/operations are performed in accordance with instructions and procedures and in such a way to prevent any fraudulent activities taking place.
* to comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and to observe the requirements of the Company Safety Policy and other relevant legislation
* to update all areas of knowledge as required to carry out the job with maximum effectiveness and to attend training/development courses as and when required
* to comply will all aspects of the HR Policies and Procedures of the Company
Education/Qualification
* GCSE’s in Maths and English
