Materials Handling Supervisor (Logistics)
Working hours – 37.5/week, Mon – Fri, 8.00am – 4.00pm
The role will see you supervise the day to day materials handling operations for this client Milton Keynes site, encompassing Raw Materials / Finished Goods storage, handling & packaging, Bulk Silo’s operations & Third Party warehouse operations. Organise re-packing operations as required. Ensuring safe and efficient handling, storage and internal distribution of bulk & packed materials. You will provide all relevant departments with statistical materials inventory information. compliance with sales, customer packaging and delivery requirements. Contribute to equipment and infrastructure improvements
The Person
Experience of working within a similar role within manufacturing / warehousing / distribution environment (5+). Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft computer based systems. Some knowledge of quality systems is desirable, ISO9000 / 14001 and TS16949. FLT licence
