Marketing Assistant

We are recruiting for a Marketing Assistant to join a leading manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes. You will become a proactive member of the Sales & Marketing Team and will take responsibility for any projects assigned to the role in relation to the Marketing function within the business.

Job responsibilities:

* Assist the Sales & Marketing Director and the Marketing Associates with ongoing projects as required.

* To be part of an overall function of the marketing team.

* Liaising with other departments to ensure that all members of the business are up to date with relevant marketing activities applicable to their department.

* Working on general administrative and marketing stock related tasks. For example, keeping track on printed stationary stock and gifts.

* Content writer and proof-reader for digital magazine and for other publications

* Event planning for Tradeshows and in-house events.

* To be a brand ambassador.

* To attend trade shows and events when required, this may involve weekend work and staying away from home.

Skills and experience required:

* Educated to college / 6th form level (or equivalent)

* Marketing experience / education (essential)

* Effective written and verbal communication skills (essential)

* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently (essential)

* Demonstrate confidence and commercial awareness (desirable)
