Maintenance engineer  – Power press – Permanent position – £15.38ph

Our client, a UK leading engineering company, is looking for an experienced Quality engineer  to support their quality team based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.

£15.38ph
Working Monday to Friday – Some flexibility may be required
Contracted to 40 Hours per week
23 days holiday & Pension scheme
Ideally from a Manufacturing/ Engineering background
As a Maintenance engineer, you will be a vital part in the press shop operation; You will take ownership of all service and repair of various niche equipment, this will include hydraulic presses, mechanical presses and high-speed stamping machines.
 
You will need to have experience of big presses 100T – 1000T alongside a background in heavy equipment/plant background or tool room environment.
 
You will need to be a mechanical bias engineer with electrical understanding with a HNC, HND or equivalent in engineering. You will also need to have strong leadership skills to coach and support junior member of the maintenance team as required

Experience/Skills & Competencies:

Must be educated to HND/HNC in a relevant engineering discipline although strong experience supported by relevant qualifications will be considered equivalent
Must be mechanical bias with electrical understanding
Experience in heavy equipment/plant background or tool room environment
Must be capable of managing & adapting to fluid & changing priority workloads
