Opportunity for a machinist to join a well-established business.

The company has been trading for over 25 years and has recently been acquired by two serial entrepreneurs with an impressive track record. The business has ambitious plans for growth over the next 12 months by developing business in new sectors and through acquisitions.

As a machinist, you will be a key part of the production team. Working alongside a group of others performing several processes to manufacture a diverse range of products, including:-

Folding
Bonding
Machining (lathes and mills)
To apply for the machinist position, you will need: –

Experience of turning (lathes) and milling.

An organised approach to work
The ability to keep multiple tasks underway at any one time
Good written and verbal communication skills
The ability to take initiativeIn return, the machinist will receive a salary of £27,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience) a 6% employer pension contribution, 25 days holiday plus the bank holidays and the potential to earn an annual bonus.
