The Company;

Our client is an award winning packaging company that have been producing high quality control packaging systems for over 20 years, who due to rapid growth are now seeking to appoint a Industrial Laboratory Technician.

The role;

As an Production Technician you will mainly be responsible for stock control and managing, operating and maintaining all laboratory equipment

Main responsibilities;

Manipulation and data analysis of data using Excel
Downloading data from logging devices and/or via network
Activities done in a timely manner
Attention to detail / presentation (Technical Documentation)
Preparation and performing testing of temperature controlled packaging solutions
The sizes of which range from a small parcel to a container
Maintenance of lab equipment
Co-ordination of calibrations with external calibration house
Co-ordination of maintenance with external contractors
Ensuring compliance to current working processes within the Technical Team
In addition, this could mean updated or generation of new SOPs / Work InstructionsAbout you;

If you are an experienced Technician and have experience in a similar role within a production facility you should have the following requirements;

Required;

Laboratory experience preferable
Laboratory management & process
Proficient with MS office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience of data capture and presentation of data
Experience of use of laboratory equipment control programs
Product Testing
Technical Report authoring
Report Reviewing
Product Qualification
Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.Benefits;
