The Role
We are looking for a HR Administrator to join the Team at our Milton Keynes site on an FTC basis for 6 months to support the HR Advisor and the Operations Team with the recruitment process.
In addition to this, the successful candidate will also provide an accurate, efficient and effective administration process to support the needs of the wider site.
It’s an exciting time at Milton Keynes with increased orders and capacity we need to fill an additional 27 Factory Operations positions across Production, Supply and Engineering.
The HR Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring this recruitment process runs smoothly. Arranging interviews and providing recruiting managers with their recruitment packs, facilitating recruitment tests, creating offer letters and contracts for successful candidates, arranging inductions and processing new starter paperwork.
Responsibilities also include (but are not limited to):
* Updating and maintaining applicant records and files throughout the recruitment process. Ensuring that all paperwork is completed in full, collated into the relevant recruitment files and retained accordingly.
* Ensure the company induction programme for new starters is executed to a very high standard and that all associated documentation is completed prior to employment commencement, including the employee induction pack.
* Ensure the employee onboarding process is followed according to Company policies and processes and that all documentation is received from new employees in a timely manner
* To manage the employee uniform and locker process for new starters, ensuring the required uniform is ordered and lockers are assigned to employees in time for their first day of employment.
* Manage and coordinate administration tasks within the department (including, but not limited to) employment changes, absence, temporary agency staff, leavers, maintaining up to date and accurate personnel records, minuting meetings and updating the Company noticeboards.
* Maintain up to date organisational charts by adding/ removing new starters or leavers and circulated to managers when necessary
About You
The successful candidate will be CPP qualified and will have experience working with a similar HR role, ideally within Manufacturing / FMCG.
You will have experience of working in line with Company policies and processes and be able to advise Managers and employees of the basic requirements of these.
Experience of providing administration support to Managers with recruitment processes is essential and experience of this on a larger scale would also be beneficial.
You will have the ability to utilise a range of IT systems including the Microsoft Office suite of packages and in house systems e.g Recruitment software and HR Management systems.
Excellent organisation and time management skills will be an essential requirement of this role, as will the ability to behave professionally at all times, demonstrating our Company Values and leading by example.
Salary & Benefits
The salary for this role is dependent on experience. We also offer a company pension scheme, 25 days holiday in addition to bank holidays, free on site parking and access to a sports and social fund.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm, with an early finish on a Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm
