What you’ll be doing:
We are looking for a HR Administrator who can strengthen and support the HR department through providing an accurate, efficient and effective administration process and service associated with the needs of the department. The role will also support the execution of the HR strategy to achieve the business objectives. The HR Administrator will co-ordinate the activities required to meet the company quality standards and focuses on continuous improvement whilst contributing to the People Agenda, and demonstrating the company values and behaviours.
The role includes but is not limited to:
* Manage and co-ordinate all administration tasks within the department such as; induction, recruitment and selection, new starters, leavers, employment changes, absence related documentation, training, performance reviews, appraisals, probation reviews, pay awards, service awards, employee of the month and long service awards, absence, daily post, newsletters, occupational health, maintaining up to date and accurate personnel records & notice boards, minutes of meetings (this list is not exhaustive).
* Maintain and utilise the HR database/ system through timely and accurate input and producing reports to assist with the provision of management information and KPI reporting.
* Support the HR Business Partners via the provision of an effective, efficient, value adding service whilst being able to accept delegated tasks, identify opportunities for improvement, proactively resolve issues and deliver a continuously professional work ethic to all customers.
* Provide monthly reports on starters and leavers to internal and external customers (e.g. H&S, training, occupational health, GPTW).
* Support the line management team with first line general advice in line with the company policy, procedures, and relevant legislation.
* Monitor employee absence levels via the associated trigger points and organise and provide support in absence / investigatory/ disciplinary meetings when required, in line with the respective policies.
* Maintain up to date organisational charts by adding/ removing new starters or leavers and update the intranet when necessary.
* Support ad hoc projects related to the role and help drive continuous improvement for the HR department.
* Track and provide managers information to ensure that probationary reviews take place at 6 and 12 week and (where appropriate 6 months).
* Support exit interview processes as and when required.
* Analyse exit interview data to help understand specific highlights and concerns raised and feedback to the relevant HR Business Partner where required.

The salary for this role is dependent on experience. We offer an annual bonus incentive and a good company pension scheme, 2 x basic salary life assurance plus 25 days holiday in addition to bank holidays (with the option to purchase additional holidays) and access to a sports and social fund. Working hours are Monday – Thursday 8.30 – 5.00, Fridays 8.30 – 4.00, with the option of working up to two days per week remotely and free, onsite parking.
