BASIC SALARY: £55,000 – £65,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Head of Supply Chain : Self adhesives / Print & Packaging
 
The primary focus of the Head of Supply Chain position is to implement and manage a new ERP system across our sites in the UK, USA, Italy, China, India. Additional key elements of the role will be to.
· Reduce overall stock holding across all sites
· Assist the FD in overseeing a total international spend of circa £7 million across around 3000 SKU's
· Implement and ensure compliance with new SLAs for the business and its suppliers
· Assess how to get best value out of the current procurement relationships and where needed, ensure supplier variation and contingency options exist
· Reduce waste and improve efficiencies
· Oversee and where possible, reduce, logistics and transport costs
 
This is genuinely an opportunity to create a supply chain and buying platform from a relatively blank canvass and will require a candidate who is strong willed and confident in their approach. The business is ready for this change and looking forward to someone coming in to standardise the supply chain management across the sites.
 
Person Requirements: Head of Supply Chain : Self adhesives / Print & Packaging
 
Ideally you will be a qualified procurement specialist with a keen focus on supply chain oversight and management, holding either CIPs/MCIPs or the equivalent, looking for the next step in your career with a world leading manufacturer.
 
The ideal candidate would demonstrate the following;
· Experience of implementing and managing ERP systems across multiple sites
· Qualified procurement managers with experience of managing a team of buyers
· Strong background of international Supply Chain management and Procurement
· Proven ability in the development and implementation of Procurement and supply chain tools & practices
· Experience of sourcing raw materials via a Global supply chain
· A proven track record of customer focus as well as achieving cost savings and business improvements
· A very strong understanding of any manufacturing environment will be of interest

Extensive training will be given in all aspects of our products, suppliers, and existing contracts. Our senior team will also provide ongoing support to ensure a smooth introduction to the business.
