We are looking for Foundry Team Leader.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all staff works in a safe manner utilizing all relevant protective equipment. Take ownership of a foundry production shift ensuring efficient running, target to achieve or beat the daily production plan. Minimize the production of scrap parts.

Duties:

– Ensure all staff work in a safe manner identifying potential Health and Safety issues.

– Oversee the metal melt process, ensuring company standards are maintained.

– Help resolve problems to ensure achievement of shift targets.

– Ensure that information is transferred between shifts to ensure that all parties fully understand the current status of the job.

– To be conversant with all systems and procedures and be able to to undertake all job functions of the team to support holiday/sickness issues.

– Support the Team Leader to maintain discipline in line with company rules.

– Support the shift personnel with problem solving, machine breakdown, tooling, quality, etc.

– Maintain/promote departmental standards including housekeeping at excellent levels.

– Understand quality requirement of production parts.

Working hours: Monday – Friday 2pm – 10pm
