Foundry Operative 

The Role

We are looking for people to join the team on a temporary to permanent basis for a company who specialise in castings of aluminium & bronze that are made for customers globally. The hours of work are Monday to Friday on a shift of 6am – 2pm or 2pm – 10pm. No weekends or bank holidays.

Job duties 

Assisting in making the sand moulding department – pouring the sand that makes the moulding
Physical duties including lifting and the moving of mouldings as well as general workshop duties 
Quality control – making sure that mouldings are correct prior to being sent out and looking for mistakes and using initiative to solve problems
Using machinery 
Cleaning of work stations and general assistance

The Candidate 

Able to work punctually and responsibly – Own transport 
Looking for a permanent position 
Able to do physical work 
Able to have attention to detail and okay with repetitive work
