As a market leading established manufacturer, we are setting up a brand-new UK facility because of growth both in terms of our market and our product offering. Part of this new development is a purpose-built label manufacturing facility. This is a crucial Factory/ Manufacturing management position.

BASIC SALARY: Up to £55,000

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Milton Keynes, Northampton, Banbury, Rugby, Coventry, Birmingham, Kettering, Leicester.

REQUIREMENTS: Factory / Manufacturing Manager – Print: Consumables – Labels

· You must have a current and proven track record in a Factory / Manufacturing manager position, specifically managing a label print function
· We may also consider people from a flexographic print environment who have been running a factory or print shop

JOB SPECIFICATION: Factory / Manufacturing Manager – Print: Consumables – Labels

This is a management position. Reporting directly to the MD and working closely with the Head of Labels you will be tasked with:

· Overseeing all day-to-day elements of the facility, Compliance, Continuous Improvement, Health & Safety, Quality etc
· Have overall responsibility for orders, production, planning and dispatch deadlines
· Direct line management and associated tasks, including coaching and development of employees
· Measurement and review of production measures / KPI's including set up, run speeds, wastage, down time etc
· Optimisation of staffing levels (circa 10 direct reports) and weekly manning and assistance with job planning
· Accountability for manufacturing quality products to meet customer specifications
· Responsibility for quality concerns and corrective and preventative action being completed in a timely manner
