We are looking for Die-Casting Setter.

Responsibilities:

* To work in a safe manner with regard to themselves and others, complying with the Health and Safety at Work Act.

* Set machinery for production of die-castings, this includes : change die sets on both aluminum and Zinc machines, produce first off parts from both Aluminum and Zinc machines

* Achieve quality first offs, such that processes are complete and ready to run

* Resolve issues which affect the quality of the components being produced as part of the first off process

* To suggest improvements to Team Leader / Process Engineer regarding methods / processes / tooling

* Contribute to the continuous improvement process

* Keep work area and machines clean and tidy

* Be able to carry out daily metal testing checks

* Carryout training if required

* In addition to the above, fulfil any other reasonable requirement consistent with departmental objectives

Working hours: Monday – Friday 2pm – 10pm

Training will be provided.
