Do you have experience of implementing Business Improvement Techniques into a manufacturing environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement (CI) Process Coordinator to join a global packaging manufacturer based in Milton Keynes. Salary approx. £32k plus 25 days holiday, company pension, life assurance, and bonus up to 10% of salary. Working hours are Monday to Friday 7am-4pm/ 8am-5pm.
As CI Process Coordinator you will report into the Plant Manager, and UK OPEX (Operational Excellence) Manager to achieve operational excellence for the Milton Keynes plant through effective application of the global OPEX programme and execution of the OPEX improvement strategy. You will support and embed a culture and mindset of operational excellence across the site.
This role will see you deliver structured improvement initiatives within a high volume manufacturing environment, facilitating and participating in improvement projects including Kaizen and SMED workshops. You will provide training to plant employees within the factory (approx. 90 staff), and ensure that the required standards are embedded within the business.
It is essential you have a manufacturing background, with experience of successfully delivering structured improvement programmes as well as applying improvement tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen and Problem Solving. Excellent data interpretation and analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel is also required for this role.
