Our FTSE 250 market-leading client are looking for a Compliance and Controls Officer / Financial Controls Auditor to join them on a permanent basis.

As the Compliance and Controls Officer / Financial Controls Auditor, you will be tasked with the maintenance and further development of suitable compliance and control frameworks throughout the company. You will provide support to business management with the design and implementation of adequate compliance procedures and controls throughout the company’s 40 sites within the EMEA, APAC and AMERICAS Regions.

Responsibilities held as the Compliance and Controls Officer / Financial Controls Auditor but not limited to:

* Support the site, regional and divisional management with the design, documentation and implementation of effective compliance procedure.

* Prepare Monthly Compliance Key Performance Indicators, and dashboards.

* Completion of validation, testing and reporting on compliance with key controls.

* Assist with preparation of training material on compliance matters for use with and/or by site, regional and divisional teams.

* Monitor Reputational Reports Portal for higher risk and expiring reports – communicate with site and regional/area management teams to support.

* Design and implement effective monitoring systems to reduce the number of overdue employee compliance training tasks to acceptable levels.

* Traveling to sites when required to support, review, provide training and implement compliance and financial controls frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within Compliance and Controls and/or Financial Controls. They will be a self-starter who is highly motivated, seeking to continually improve and not afraid to challenge the ‘norm’. Study support for ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent will be offered and encouraged.
